15& Excite Fans With Cover Of Beyonce's 'Rocket'
15& has been in full swing with their activities for "Love is Madness" but during their busy schedules, the duo has found time to release a mind-blowing cover to Beyonce's track, "Rocket."
On Sunday, Yerin of 15& took to her personal instagram to upload a short but amazing cover of Beyonce's track "Rocket" from her self-title album Beyonce. "Rocket" is a slow yet powerful R&B track that features soft tones interbred with strong high notes. 15& are known for having vocals that carry miles away so it is only befitting that the ladies cover the songs.
In the short snippet, the two ladies are heard harmonizing across various octaves each with a unique flare. Contradictory to the original version, the chosen snippet was sang at a lower pitch than Beyonce's; however, there are indeed moments in the short piece where you could hear higher notes coming out in the background.
This is the second time in two weeks that Yerin has posted to her official instagram with a Beyonce cover and once again has nailed. Two weeks prior to covering "Rocket," Yerin uploaded a clip of herself covering Beyonce's track "Work It Out" from the movie Austin Powers: Goldmember.
Meanwhile, JYP uploaded to their official YouTube channel the live video for 15&'s newest R&B toned track "Love is Madness" featuring Kanto of boy group TROY. The duo stuns the viewers with their powerful vocals and proves yet again that they are a force to be reckoned with.
15& released their first full-length album, Sugar, back in May of 2014 and took the #1 spot on Gaon with title track "Can't Hide It." The duo has seen great success since their time on the reality singing competition K-pop Star and their second single "Somebody" which stole top spots on the most coveted Korean music charts.
