Fans were quick to respond with delightful comments when Emma Watson dating Prince Harry reports surfaced. However, even if many complimented how good the couple would look, the "Beauty and the Beast" star dismissed the rumors.

"WORLD Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media?!" wrote the Brit Beauty on Twitter, which many assumed was directed to rumors linking her with Prince William's younger brother.

The 24-year-old also added that "marrying a prince is not a prerequisite for being a princess." She used Alfonso Cuaron as a reference and even included a YouTube link to the 1995 film "A Little Princess."

The said clip shows lead character Sara Crewe saying that all girls can be princesses.

As per Emma Watson dating Prince Harry rumors, the British royal is reportedly "smitten" and he even reportedly invited the "Harry Potter" actress to go out with him so he could get to know her better.

It can be recalled that Emma Watson broke up with her boyfriend last fall.

In addition to Emma Watson's strong response, she also recently made headlines for writing a letter to Steve Carell thanking him for his efforts in promoting gender equality.

The "Foxcatcher" actor wore a pair of HeForShe cufflinks at the Oscars 2015 ceremony. HeForShe is a campaign initiated by UN, which urges men to support gender equality.
