K-Pop Crossover: Grimes, Erik Hassle, Jake Troth Rumored Producers On Upcoming CL Solo Debut

Shortly after confirming her collaboration with Black Eyes Peas, two more producers have been unveiled amidst Lee "CL" Chaerin's solo debut preparations.

Earlier in the month, music producer Erik Hassle uploaded a photo on Twitter featuring CL and producer Jake Troth. Known for working with Shakira, Rihanna and Ellie Goulding, Hassle's photo seemingly confirmed a collaboration between the trio.

"Dope stuff in the [studio] with CL and Jake Troth," tweeted Hassle.

Like Hassle, Jake Troth also has an impressive list of musical collaborators, including Jennifer Lopez and Kelly Rowland.

In addition to Hassle and Troth, CL has also been working with producers such a Sean Garrett, Diplo, Skrillex as well as songwriter Bobby Brackins.

"Wow this young superstar here is so amazing," tweeted Garrett last month. "You know what we about to do!!"

With a growing list of producers, rumors are also spreading that CL might be working with singer Grimes, after the 2NE1 rapper uploaded a photo of the two spending time together.

"I feel like it's all about good music at the end of the day," said CL to Complex magazine.

"It's not like I'm a rookie. I have been doing this for a long time in Asia. It's just a new market. I have to have good music, so I'm just focusing on that. There are so many Korean people here, and Chinese and Japanese, but they don't have one pop artist that they can look up to. That's kind of sad. I wish I could be that person for them to be proud of."

According to the alleged YG Entertainment schedule, CL is slated to make her debut in the second quarter of 2015, after labelmates Big Bang's comeback and iKON's debut.
