Former DSP Entertainment Trainee Ahn Sojin Found Dead

Sojin, a trainee known for being part of DSP Entertainment's pre-debut group known as Baby Kara, was found after falling out a window from her family's home. Although she was brought to the hospital, Sojin was pronounced dead in an alleged suicide. After Sojin's passing, DSP Media revealed that Sojin's contract with the entertainment agency had been terminated. She was 22.

Ahn Sojin's death reignited a debate in South Korea over the living conditions of K-pop trainees, who often go through grueling training periods while competing for a spot in idol groups.

Kim Hyun Joong And Former Ex-Girlfriend Confirm Pregnancy Rumors

Korean star Kim Hyun Joong and former ex-girlfriend, known to the media by her surname Choi, were surrounded by rumors after local Korean media outlets reported that the two were planning to get married following Choi becoming pregnant. The two had made headlines in 2014 during a domestic violence case before Kim apologized, after which the two reconciled.  

Since a media storm began on February 22, resulting in multiple statements from both Kim and Choi's representatives, Kim and Choi have confirmed Choi's pregnancy, but denied plans to get married.

SM Entertainment Announces Multiple Comeback Dates For 2015, Denies Girls' Generation Korean Comeback Rumors

One of Korea's top entertainment companies confirmed a Japanese comeback from Girls' Generation, the group's first comeback since former ninth member Jessica Jung departed the group in 2014. SM Entertainment also announced the Korean comeback of Super Junior subunit Donghae & Eunhyuk, the first Korean comeback by the group in several years. Another Super Junior member, Yesung, announced to fans that Super Junior's subunit Super Junior-K.R.Y will also make a comeback in 2015.

A comeback date for Girls' Generation's 2015 Korean comeback was also announced by Korean media, but then revealed to be false information.
