INFINITE Announces Comeback With Speculated Follow Up Track To "Back"

Korean idol group INFINITE will make a comeback in May.

Woollim Entertainment released a teaser video announcing news for fans of male idol group INFINITE. The teaser video, titled "7 in 1," announced INFINITE's May 2015 comeback. There is speculation from fans that "7 in 1" is related to the dramatic plot that began in the music video for INFINITE's last title song, "Back."

After the teaser video was released on March 1, the term "INFINITE 2015 Comeback Teaser" trended worldwide on Twitter and was used over 3,000 times within two hours of the video being published, according to social media analytic tracker Topsy.

Woollim Entertainment uploaded an extended comeback teaser for "7 in 1." The video shows individual shots of the seven members, and hints to INFINITE's unique retro-infused style that the group has been known for.

INFINITE last released the repackaged album "Be Back" in July 2014, and has pursued solo and subunit promotions since then.

Based on the outfits and logos bearing similarities to those used in INFINITE's "Back" music video and promotions, fans commenting on the comeback teaser video have speculated about a possible connection between the group's past and future songs.

One YouTube user, Mira Mym, asked "Is this a sequel to Back? Woolllim don't you dareee," leading to other fans pointing out the similarities between the outfits and the winged infinity sign, which was last seen during the "Back" music video.

Woollim Entertainment has not specified whether "7 in 1" will be a single or full length album from the idol group.

Although the comeback was announced for May 2015, Woollim Entertainment also did not specify the date of INFINITE's comeback.

The idol group's hip-hop subgroup INFINITE H is currently promoting the track "Pretty" from its album, "Fly Again."
