Girls' Generation's Tiffany And BTOB's Peniel Fall In Love With 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Soundtrack

50 shades of K-pop?

Some K-pop stars are falling in love with the soundtrack of the Hollywood film, Fifty Shades of Grey. Members of top idol groups like Girls' Generation and BTOB told their fans about how much they loved the soundtrack on social media, with mixed reviews about the movie itself.

Girls' Generation's Tiffany spoke about the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack on her Instagram account on February 25. She singled out The Weeknd's song "Earned It" as her personal favorite.

Tiffany admitted to reading the bestselling erotica book in a 2013 interview.

BTOB’s Peniel admitted to seeing the American erotic romantic drama film. When he shared his opinion on Twitter, also on February 25, Peniel called the film Fifty Shades of Grey “interesting” while raving about the soundtrack.

Peniel also asked fans for suggestions of additional movies for him to watch.

Fifty Shades of Grey earned over $150 million at the foreign box office within 48 hours of being released on Valentine's Day. The movie took in $239.7 million, abroad and in the US, reported Variety. According to the Daily Mail, 50 Shades became the top-grossing foreign language R-rated film in South Korea ever, replacing James Bond titles for the top spot.
