Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling's marriage continue to be on the mend after he cheated with a transsexual. So it's probably a good thing that he's quitting "Chopped Canada" to be with his family.

The reality star shared on Instagram a poster of the reality show and captioned it with, "It is with a heavy heart I announce I will no longer be the host of @ChoppedCanada Thank you to a great crew, judges and chefs. Thank you @FoodNetworkCa for the op. Onward and upward."

One commenter said, "Too bad for Chopped Canada. I won't watch anymore. You and Tori need your own cooking show featuring kid friendly recipes!"

"Sad. Wish you more new interesting projects! There a lot fans who cares about you, guys. Your family touches so many hearts. Our love to you!!!" another fan wrote.

A fan added: "I hope you will not disappear from TV permanently! I am proud of.you for putting your family first! Good luck in whatever you take on next!"

Although Dean McDermott didn't state his reasons for leaving "Chopped Canada," Us Weekly reported that Tori Spelling's husband had a bad experience with Canada.

"Canada itself has proven to be bad news for the star, who admitted to having an alcohol-induced affair in the country with Emily Goodhand in December 2013," said the report.

"The affair - which landed the star in therapy alongside Spelling and was well-documented on their hit reality TV show 'True Tori' - almost caused the actor to not return to the Food Network series as well," it added.

It was also during the episode of "True Tori" that fans found out how the cooking show has been causing tension in Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's marriage.

"I'm leaving my wife and my family at a time that they really, really need me. I'm a different person. I'm changing," he said to the camera.

With Dean McDermott leaving "Chopped Canada," perhaps he's really choosing to save the marriage with Tori Spelling over his career after all.
