The 2016 Ford Bronco Hoax Fooled Everyone; But Will It Ever Push Through? Ford Releases Statement!

The validity of the news claiming that there is a 2016 Ford Bronco has been in question since numerous websites claimed it to be a hoax.

As previously reported, the said car is supposedly in the initial stage of planning, and that car enthusiasts and hobbyists alike would be delighted to know that it will be released by next year.

Sample photos, which were published along with the article claiming the 2016 Ford Bronco to be true has not been taken down by the website, and continues to be viewed by online users. This is also despite the fact that the article had been published for less than a year already, with Apr. 1 being its exact date of publishment. Fans, who were quick to point out that the story is a hoax, say that the article is obviously an April Fool's joke, and that people should not even consider the rumor to be remotely true.

A website called Truckyeah, has also supported the fans claiming the rumor to be entirely fake. According to the said site, one of their writers was able to speak with a personell from the Ford company itself, and upon being asked as to whether or not there will be a 2016 Ford Bronco, the Ford Personell said, "While Ford values the iconic Bronco name and history, there are no current plan for a new Bronco."

Fans quickly turned to the internet to announce the said rumor's validity, which according to them, is close to none.

While the skeptics have been proven to be right, some enthusiasts are still hopeful that they will be seeing a brand new version of their favorite car sooner of later, and that it will be officially announced this time around.

The supposed specs for the 2016 Ford Bronco included the options of a 5.0-liter eight-cylinder Coyote gasoline engine with 420 horsepower, a 4.9-liter six-cylinder Powerstroke diesel powertrain with 330 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque, or a 5.8-liter 8-cylinder engine with 662 horsepower and 631 pound-feet of torque.
