2AM's Jo Kwon Pursues Graduate Degree From Kyung Hee University

Last week, 2AM vocalist Jo Kwon attended his first day as a graduate student in Kyung Hee University. The idol has enrolled in the performing arts department. He posted an Instagram photo of what will be his new home for higher learning.

"As the start of Monday's general assembly for the new semester, we will have our first lecture today," Jo Kwon wrote along with the hashtags #KyungheeUniversityGraduateProgram #PerformingArtsDepartment #19thGeneration(Class/Year).

Fans encouraged Jo Kwon to finish his graduate degree, commending him for pursuing his passion.

Kyung Hee university's performing arts program offers majors in Jazz & Contemporary Music and Edu Theater. It seems Jo Kwon is preparing for more career opportunities since the program will expand his knowledge and skills to include music production and teaching, among other disciplines.

"The curriculum not just includes all of the standard coursework, but is designed to prepare students for a personalized and independent career in the music industry" according to Kyung Hee University's Graduate School of Art & Fusion Design in which Jo Kwon's program is part of.

"The skills acquired in the classroom and in practical situations qualify the graduates for a number of careers including professional composer, arranger, performer, music producer, film music director, recording engineer, sound designer, etc. Graduates of the program are also qualified to pursue educational occupations such as music instructor, private teacher, and professor. "

Jo Kwon enters graduate school refreshed after a brief vacation in Thailand, visiting the capital Bangkok before heading off to the popular tourist beaches of Krabi Island.
