CUBE Entertainment Finally Releases 1st Images Of New Girl Group CLC

Cube Entertainment has finally revealed the beautiful faces of their new girl group CLC or short for CrystaL Clear.

The agency has posted on its Twitter account the first group teaser for the fresh-faced quintet's debut mini album - at least one where their faces are shown. A previous teaser had featured the group but with balloons of characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse covering their faces.

In this face-revealed teaser, all girls can be seen sporting long braids and wearing predominantly white ensembles in their first group teaser. The girls also posed with one hand covering their mouths in surprise, or as if they made an adorably clumsy mistake. The CLC logo hovers above the group with a clever cat face design in baby pink.

Based on this logo and the look of the teaser image, the debut concept for CLC is likely a cute and girly one. All girls in the group are reported to be born between 1995 and 1998, according to Koreaboo.

Cube Entertainment tweeted the photo with a reminder that CLC's debut mini album will be coming out in less than two weeks on March 19.

CLC differs from most other girl groups because it is a multinational group, and includes a Thai member Sorn. The group is also passionate about doing volunteer work, and hopes that they can inspire their fans and other artists to also adopt volunteerism through the group's music and promotions.

The members of the group are currently the subjects of a CUBE-produced mini-series documentary as part of their pre-debut promotions. The first 15-minute installment was posted to YouTube on March 9 and serves as an introduction to each of the members.

CLC is expected to receive an extra promotional push from Cube Entertainment as they are the first girl group the agency is launching in five years since the debut of veteran act 4Minute.
