Carrie Underwood news reported that a new clothing line was launched by the "Jesus Take The Wheel" singer. According to E!Online, "Calia by Carrie" was announced after she delivered her first baby with her husband, Nashville Predators hockey star Mike Fisher.

A former "American Idol" winner, Carrie Underwood made news last week both for giving birth to her son and for announcing her collaboration with Dick's Sporting Goods. The clothing line will be available both through the said retailer and online.

It's been such a rewarding experience working with Dick's Sporting Goods," Carrie Underwood gushed.

"(We worked) on all aspects of the design process for 'Calia' - from choosing fabrics to making sure the look, feel and fit is right for active women."

The country superstar also shared why she decided to come up with her own clothing line, and why she chose to focus on activewear for "Calia by Carrie."

"The inspiration for this line came from my desire to have clothes that seamlessly take me from workouts to errands, to rehearsals and beyond," the 32-year-old recording artist explained.

"As someone who is passionate about health and fitness, I'm excited to offer women a wardrobe that will move with them and encourage them to stay the path of leading an active lifestyle," she added.

The launch of Carrie Underwood's clothing line followed news about how she gave birth to her firstborn, whom she named Isaiah Michael Fisher.

According to USA Today, the Grammy-winning singer took to Instagram to share her son's first photo.

The image showed only the hand of Carrie Underwood's baby, who was born last Feb. 27. Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood only informed news sites about the baby's arrival on Mar. 3.

"Tiny hands and tiny feet...God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher - born Feb. 27," Carrie Underwood posted on her Instagram shot.
