EXID's Hani became an international sensation when a fan-taken video of her performing became viral. In October (2014), a fan with the YouTube name pharkil uploaded a video that concentrated on Hani during a group performance of "Up & Down."

The video slowly garnered viewers until it eventually became a viral hit spread on Korean social media networks. "Up & Down" initially debut at #94 in the Gaon, but the newly-sparked interest led to it topping the chart three months after its initial release. EXID began promoting the single again on music programs and won first place in M! Countdown, Music Bank, The Music Trend, and The Show.
