EXO's New Album Confirmed For Release March 30

The day that EXO fans have been waiting for has just been announced.

SM Entertainment's male idol group EXO's comeback has been teased since December 2014, and after many rumors, the entertainment company has confirmed EXO's comeback date. EXO will release their second studio album on March 30.

Korean news outlet Sports Donga reported that SM Entertainment confirmed on March 11 that the ten-member idol group will release their album March 30. The title track of the album will be "Call Me Baby."

Several of the songs from the upcoming album, including "Call Me Baby" have already been made known to the public, as EXO performed new songs at their latest concert series in Seoul. During the five-night March concert series, EXO performed songs like "El Dorado," "Playboy," "My Answer" and  "Exodus," along with several other songs that are expected to appear on EXO's  second studio album.

The album allegedly has a total of nine songs.

EXO last made a comeback in May 2014, with "Overdose." The group's comeback was pushed off from March due to the Sewol Ferry accident that became a national tragedy for South Korea and led the music industry to come to a halt.

2014 saw lineup changes ad difficulty for the SM Entertainment act, which previously had twelve members. Kris (Wu Yi Fan) and Luhan both filed contract nullification lawsuits against SM Entertainment and departed for China to pursue careers there. The lawsuits are still ongoing, but both former EXO members have undertaken multiple jobs in China.

While the album release date has been announced, the title for the album has yet to be revealed.

EXO debut in 2012, and was split into two groups. EXO-K initially promoted in Korea while EXO-M promoted in China. The two groups ended up being combined in 2013 and has promoted as ten-member group since 2014.
