The organizers of SXSW recently announced the return of the Seoulsonic showcase. The performances will mark the second Korean showcase that is included in the official SXSW 2015 lineup, along with K-Pop Night Out. The event which is billed as 2015 SXSW Seoulsonic will feature electroclash band From the Airport with producers-turned-EDM artists The Solutions, Heo and folk music artist, Big Phony.  

Korean glam rock band Victim Mentality and Yoo Do Hyun's YB will conclude the night of rock. 

Bobby Choi, who adopts the musical persona Big Phony, is included in the cast of the film "Ktown Cowboy," which will premier during SXSW 2015. He also received the honor of being selected by NPR (America's National Public Radio) as one of the top 100 SXSW acts to check out, during the festival. 

Technology, science and education will collide on March 13 when the Interactive portion of the festival commenses. Film buffs and Korean culture fans will be interested in the premier of the Los Angeles Koreatown romp, "Ktown Cowboy" during the SXSW Film Festival. The cast of "Ktown Cowboy" will also be present to host the Seoulsonic showcase on March 19. 

The showcase is an official SXSW event presented by DFSB Kollective and Mandoo Entertainment.

SXSW Music badges, platnium badges, and music wristband holders will be given priority entrance to the event. Registration for SXSW is facilitated through the festival's website
