Shinhwa Member Jun Jin Pursues Acting Under New Agency

Shinhwa member Jun Jin has signed an exclusive contract with Enpino Entertainment as he pursues acting roles on top of his singing activities for the veteran idol group.

"Shinhwa's Junjin recently signed an exclusive contract with us. Junjin is a versatile entertainer with unlimited abilities, and we are happy to have signed an exclusive contract with him. In addition to Shinhwa activities, the company will do its best to support him as a solo singer and actor, and will give him our full support to show his full potential," was reported to have said in a statement, according to Koreaboo.

Jun Jin debuted as a solo artist way back in 2006, and had a string of television series roles in the late 2000's. But his filmography then shifted heavily to variety shows in the early 2010's.

Aside from expressing confidence in Jun Jin's acting abilities, Empino further revealed that fans can expect their favorite idol to become prolific in the entertainment scene, including dramas, films and musical activities. Jun Jin should pursue these solo activities under his new agency likely in the second half of 2015 after Shinhwa's promotions for the new album have subsided.

Shinhwa is currently in the heat of their latest comeback with their 12th studio album WE, which has been met warmly by music fans. The album's title track "Sniper" has topped charts upon release and won #1 on Mnet's M! Countdown and MNC's Show Champion. The "Sniper" MV has also reached more than 1 million views on YouTube.
