During the Big Bang's Alive Tour concert at the Tokyo Dome, Daesung revealed to his fans that he would be coming out with his own solo album.

Daesung also shared with fans that he would be releasing this album in Japan and that it would consist of covers of popular Japanese songs as well as his own songs in Japanese.

Below is the list circulating the Internet, said to be Daesung's tracklist. This list has not been confirmed  but it gives fans an idea of what Daesung's album may look like.

Daesung has never had his own album but his solo songs "Wings" and "Baby Don't Cry" have been featured on Big Bang's albums.

Fans have commented on the announcement of Daesung's solo album saying, "OMG I started fall in love with Jpop!! I can't wait Daesung's cover for all these songs. Can't wait for the album", "It's going to be amamamamamazzzzing! I am OVER THE MOON for Dae's album but ... covers ... come on now ... Not his own songs!? ... *sigh* just ... a ... slight ... hint of ... disappointment ..." and "Daesung!!! This US VIP is going to Japan in March for you~".

Daesung will have his first solo concert in Japan in March of 2013.
