CL Becomes A Modern Princess In The March Issue Of W Korea

2NE1's CL proved she's one of the most versatile visual artists in K-pop with a dazzlingly high fashion photoshoot in the March issue of W Korea.

In the pictorial, aptly called The Queen, the idol wore vibrant hanboks, dramatic autumn-themed robs that fell to her feet, coral material hairpins, lace jackets, studded stilettos, and custom products.

For her beauty look, CL's hair and lips were sprinkled with golden glitter following the runway trend from Steve J & Yoni P's 2014 Fall/Winter runway show. The star also donned her characteristically thick eyeliner, dark brows, and dangerously sharp nails.

The magazine described the project as a means of showing "the new and familiar, the classic but still striking."

CL was able to modernize her outfits with the help of gaudy yet futuristic accessories. For instance, she wore pearl-studded cat-eye sunglasses from Chanel's 2015 Resort collection, which were the perfect mix of vintage Hollywood meets present-day opulence. You can appreciate the amazing eyewear below in greater detail.

She had a colorful pictorial in New York based magazine Complex, filled with sporty Moschino apparel, chunky gold jewelry, dramatic footwear, and waves of blonde curls. She also discussed her life as a student in a special behind-the-scenes video interview.
