'One Piece' Manga Chapter 780 Spoilers: Ryokugyu To Be Revealed After Strawhat Luffy And Donquixote Doflamingo’s Battle In Dressrosa Arc?

"One Piece" Dressrosa Arc is about to hit its finale as Donquixote Doflamingo and Strawhat Monkey D. Luffy is set to clash for the country's freedom. It is expected that after this arc, the New World will introduce its major players such as the Yonkos Kaido and Big Mam, and also, the new Admiral, Ryokugyu.

Fans are eager to know what kind of Admiral he is, if he has eaten a Devil Fruit, and to which Japanese celebrity he will be patterned with. One Piece Gold has a theory about the unknown Admiral.

"We have so far seen many types of admirals in One Piece, what is missing is the crooked cop, the corrupt admiral that encapsulates and symbolizes all that is wrong with the marines. We have seen corrupt marines in the series so far (Nezumi, Morgan) which means it's completely possible that higher ranking officers also are corrupt." The website said.

The website added that this is the only type of Justice left considering how the different admirals have shown their definition of justice.

  • Aokiji: Lazy Justice (acts when he absolutely has to)
  • Akainu: Absolute Justice (acts for the greater good with no concern for the means)
  • Kizaru: Random Justice (acts when he feel like doing it)
  • Fujitora: Blind Justice (acts when HE thinks its right)
  • Ryokugyu: Corrupt Justice (acts in his own interests)

As for his powers, it is believed that he will have the power of Earth. It is already a given that the color he will symbolize is Green, which symbolizes nature and earth.

As of this writing, the manga is currently on chapter 780, wherein Donquixote Doflamingo and Trebol are the only ones left standing for the villainous Donquixote family. Luffy just knocked out Bellamy and it is currently unknown if Trafalgar Law was killed by Doflamingo. The chapter is expected to be released on Thursday, March 19, 2015.
