2NE1's Dara Shares Excitement For 1st TV Drama Role With 'Dr. Ian' Teasers

2NE1's Dara is debuting as a drama star with the adaptation of the Chinese-Korean web series Dr. Ian, and fans can now drink in the teaser photos which show the idol and her tall and handsome co-star Kim Young Kwang.

Dara shared the teasers on Twitter and Instagram, saying: "My first drama! Dr. Ian coming to you on March 29!"

There are two teaser images. The first shows Dara wearing a purple coat and clasping the left arm of her co-star in a casual, friendly way. She also projected a bright smile. In the background, we could see a colorful carnival carousel. It is not clear whether this is one of the scene sets that will be appearing in the drama or just for the photo shoot.

Then another image below shows a more picturesque scene where Dara and Young Kwang are seen standing in front of each other in a bridge.

Dr. Ian focuses on the story of a therapist who uses hypnosis to help patients find healing and love in their lives, according to Koreaboo. Dara will play the female lead but little has been revealed about her character and relationship with the therapist protagonist.

With less than two weeks left before the drama releases, fans are wishing Dara good luck and also shared her excitement:

"Good luck Dara unnie. I hope it will get high ratings," "Patiently waiting and so excited! Teasers are already great! Fighting!" and "I'm so proud of you. You're doing something you always wanted to do and that is to act and be in a drama. I hope they have it in English sub."
