The friendship between fierce 2NE1 leader CL and fashion designer Jeremy Scott is stronger than ever - the pair was recently seen being chummy in front of a Moschino store.

CL posted their twosome shot on her Instagram account over the weekend, with the caption: "With ma boo! @moschino" tagging the designer's official Instagram handle.

Scott is the creative director of Italian fashion brand Moschino.

Scott then returned the social media callout with his own Instagram post, but this time a cartoon rendition of him and the idol. He captioned the drawing with: "ME & @chaelincl HANGING AT THE@moschino LA STORE."

The two have a long history of partnership and have supported each other in their respective creative endeavors.

Scott first knew about CL when he saw her in the music video for 2NE1's debut song "Fire" and he flew out to South Korea to see her during a collaboration photo shoot the group had with Adidas, CL said in a 2013 interview with Elle.com.

CL said Scott is her best friend and big brother who looks out for her. "You know when you meet someone and you can connect, that click, we had that," she said to Elle.com.

Since that initial encounter, Scott has helped CL and 2NE1 by designining the group's wardrobes during their first world tour. He has also designed a shoe style dedicated to the group. In turn, CL has flown out to appear in the front seat of Scott's fashion shows. She is also reportedly expected to appear in Jeremy Scott's life documentary, according to Ttwigo.

CL is currently preparing for her US solo debut after having flown to stateside in January to February to record music with the help of label owner Scooter Braun and producer Sean Garrett.
