SNSD was appointed as singer of the year for 3 consecutive years.

A survey by Korea Gallop targeting 3,401 participants aged between 13 and 59 resulted placing SNSD for No. 1 with 26.1% rating for the question 'Who was the singer of the year?'.

Big Bang, who released an album after 3 year break, was ranked 2nd place with 8.2%, Jang Yoon Jung was ranked 3rd with 6.9%. Also MBC 'I Am A Singer' singers including Kim Bum Soo, Lim Jae Bum, Park Jung Hyun were ranked top 10.

For the best K-pop song of the year, IU's 'Good Day' won the first place followed by T-ara's 'Roly-Poly', SNSD's 'The Boys', and CN Blue's Intuition'.
