GTA 6 PS4 Release Date Expected In 2018! Rockstar Has Ideas For Upcoming Game, Open World Title To Happen In London?

With the success of the latest Rockstar Studios title "Grand Theft Auto 5," a new "GTA 6" is in the talks, which is rumored to have a release date in 2018.

In a report by IGN, Rockstar president Leslie Benzies revealed that they have ideas for multiple sequels of the game in the years to come.

"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do," Benzies said in an interview with Develop. "We don't know what 'GTA VI' will be, but we've got some ideas."

In regard to the setting of the new game, it is still unknown as to where the new open world game would take place. Benzies claimed that with each place the game is set then it would give a different story and angle as to how the game would run.

"It comes from the idea first," he claimed. "Where is it going to be set is the first question. Then that defines the missions; you're doing different things in LA than in New York or Miami. The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the missions in."

Meanwhile, rumors suggest that "GTA 6" would be set in London come its release date. In a thread from 4chan, fans suggest that the game would be perfect to be set in Europe for its "immigrant problems, patriotic idiots, ugly strippers for comedy, almost the same crime rate in New York and the ghettos" that was said to give the game a different twist.

Creative VP of Rockstar Dan Houser solidified the idea in a report by Kdramastars, saying that they are not limiting the game to be set in the United States but can also be seen in different parts of the world.

"At the moment it feels like [Grand Theft Auto's] D.N.A. is contemporary-ish, America-ish, English-speaking-ish, because that's what it has been... But that doesn't necessarily limit it to those, that's just what we've done so far," Houser said.
