Girls' Generation took a night out of a busy week to get together for a so-called Welcome Dinner, with member Tiffany (@xolovestephi) posting snapshots of their fancy plating arrangements and menu cards.

"Girls night," Tiffany said while uploading two photos in one post on the evening of March 19.

The first and top photo showed Tiffany's hand holding the dinner menu which calls the gathering of the eight members as a "Welcome Dinner for Girls' Generation."

The logo of SM Entertainment can also be seen on the bottom, suggesting that this was sponsored by the agency. The group is scheduled to head to Malaysia next week for a post-F1 race concert and members have been flying off to places for their solo activities, so this could be the agency's way to get them all gathered in one place.

The second and bottom photo zooms out of the dinner menu to show the elaborate table set-up for each member. There were vegetable sticks, several glasses of wine, a variety of sauces, a nuts bowl and a cheese and crackers plat on the side. And that's before any of the meals have been served.

On the upper left of the photo, another similar plating arrangement can be seen although the owner, likely one of the other Girls' Generation members, was not shown. But given that Tiffany tagged the rest of the seven members on her Instagram post, everyone must have attended the dinner.

Sooyoung (@syofgg) also updated her Instagram with a photo of the Welcome Dniner menu.

The mere mention of a group dinner ignited heated discussion on Tiffany's Instagram comments thread, dredging up issues on Jessica's departure late last year.

"I love you my Soshi 8 in my heart you are still my Soshi 9," says Instagram user abbylovetaeyeonssitaeny wistfully.

Amid the clashing support for Jessica and the rest of the girls, more diplomatic fans tried to step in and keep the calm.

"It seems everyone has their own opinion for the problems between Jessica and SNSD. But guys, you should not taunt each other with whom you support. if SNSD strong, then SONE also strong. We can get through all the roads that have occurred. Let's support Jessica & SNSD," says Instagram user shiversoulmates99.
