'World star' Psy has finally done it.

Global sensation Psy has made YouTube history today by hitting 1 billion views for his "Gangnam Style" video.

YouTube commented, "Psy's success is a testament to the universal appeal of catchy music." 

Before, it was hard to know about other artist around he world because most music was regional. However, with YouTube, we are able to open a global platform for artists all around the world to display their music. Now, many people are able to know and listen to all sorts of music from around the world.

This is a great accomplishment for Psy as he becomes one of the biggest leaders who have expanded and opened a new gateway for other Korean artists.
