Huh Gak Reflects On Fatherhood In Recent Comeback Interview

Huh Gak has been making the media rounds to promote his latest comeback and third mini album Snow of April, and in a TV interview the male singer discussed the challenges of being an active artist and a father, reports Koreaboo.

Huh Gak welcomed a baby boy around the same time last year on March 14, 2014.

"It is very hectic these days. But, I have my wife and I have plans to give birth to three children of our own. We hope our second child does not have much age difference with our first one. I would love it if it was a daughter. Of course, I like sons too, but I envy parents with cute daughters," he was reported to have said in the interview.

"We don't have a camera, but I am already filming 'Superman is Back' on my own. While my wife works, I focus on raising the kids. Although I am still a rookie father, I try my best," he added.

Huh Gak was referring to Superman is Back, a South Korean reality and variety show airing on KBS2 where celebrity dads are filmed while they are left with the responsibility for their young kids for 48 hours while their wives relax.

The singer also shared how becoming a father changed his lifestyle and priorities, with the baby and its needs becoming the most important consideration. "It's fun saving money to buy baby supplies rather than to spend it on drinking."

Huh Gak has spent the last week performing his comeback stage for his album's title song, "Snow of April" on music shows like Music Core and Music Bank.
