"Captain America" lead star Chris Evans was spotted dating "Mirror Mirror" actress Lily Collins in a fancy Italian restaurant in Los Angeles.

E! News reported that the 33-year-old actor and 26-year-old actress were seen having dinner alone the said high-end restaurant on Friday.

Rumors about their romantic involvement with each other started to make headlines about a week ago. However, the former boyfriend of Minka Kelly and the daughter of rocker Phil Collins have not yet given any comments about the speculations.

An eyewitness revealed to E! News that Chris Evans and Lily Collins the two seemed flirting with each other during the date. The "Captain America" actor was reportedly having a glass of beer and talking a lot more than Lily Collins while they were having a meal.

"It for sure seemed like they were on a date,"the source shared.

While Chris Evans and Lily Collins have not worked for a similar project together, the couple who are now rumored to be dating were both seen at Vanity Fair's 2015 post-Oscars party.

It was not clarified though if they arrived together or just met at the venue.

It can be recalled that the lead actor of the romantic comedy "Playing It Cool" broke up with Minka Kelly in 2013. The split was their second time after they first parted ways in 2007 said a report from US Magazine.

"It didn't make sense for them to be together right now," an insider told the magazine about "The Iceman"star's most high profile public relationship.

Meanwhile, the "Abduction" actress was previously linked to the actor of the "High School Musical" fame ZacEfron. But Us Weekly reported their split in 2012 through some unnamed sources.

"They're no longer together. They were never serious, though; it was just a casual thing and it fizzled. They were never in the same place at the same time,"one insider explained.

"Zac was never very serious about her. He didn't talk about her to friends," said another source.

Reportedly, news about Chris Evans dating Lily Collins will be confirmed if they will appear together at the red carpet for his 2015 offering "The Avengers: Age of Ultron."
