K.Will Re-Signs Exclusive Contract With Starship Entertainment

K.Will has renewed his exclusive contract with Starship Entertainment, reports Koreaboo, extending what has been eight years under the agency.

K.Will and Starship Entertainment have had a long and mutually prosperous relationship starting back in 2007 when the singer was the only artist in the agency's roster.

Through the help of Starship Entertainment, the singer has since risen to become one of K-Pop's premier ballad singer-songwriters, churning out chart-topping hits every year.

In a similar fashion, Starship Entertainment has grown from a small agency with a single artist into a thriving entertainment company with a robust line-up of popular acts like K.Will, SISTAR and Boyfriend. In 2013, Starship Entertainment's impressive potential convinced distributor LOEN Entertainment to acquire 70% of the label's shares.

An acquaintance of K.Will reportedly described the singer as being very contented as a Starship Entertainment artist and wants to remain loyal to the agency that he has grown with throughout the years.

"K.Will has never thought about moving to another agency despite the expiration of the contract was soon approaching. He places much meaning on debuting and developing together with the agency since the beginning. Also, he is thankful to the agency's CEO and staff members for supporting him for the past eight years and wants to keep his loyalty to them," the acquaintance was reported to have said.

K.Will will be working with Starship Entertainment in his upcoming comeback sixth mini-album, Koreaboo further reports, with a title track of "Growing (Flowers Bloom)", which suggests a song perfect for springtime release and listening.
