"Gangnam Style" Psy has ranked number 1 for the Gallup Korea's 2012 Brightest Singing Stars.

Today, Gallup Korea revealed the poll results for the best singer of 2012. Psy came in first, receiving 24.4% of the votes.

Psy's song "Gangnam Style" was first released in July and is now over a billion views on YouTube.

Gallup Korea commented, "Psy has been most popular with the 30s age group and beyond."

After Psy came Girls' Generation and Big Bang at number 2.
