MFBTY’s 'Wondaland’ Will 'Transcend What One's Come To Expect From Korean Rap' According To Billboard

Three-piece South Korean hip-hop supergroup MFBTY might not be topping the Billboard with their latest album "WondaLand," released on March 19, but they have won the heart of at least one of the publication's reviewers.

In a rave review published on Tuesday, Billboard columnist Jeff Benjamin, asserted that "Wondaland" goes well beyond the standard Korean hip-hop release in terms of quality and innovation.

Benjamin's Billboard review claimed “WondaLand” was nothing short of “a musical experience that transcends what one's come to expect from the Korean rap scene."

"WondaLand is one of the most universal Korean rap releases in recent mind with tracks, collaborations and flows that can appeal to and impress hip hop fans regardless of language or territory," Benjamin added.

Consisting of Korean rap stars Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae and Bizzy, MFBTY first debuted in 2013 with the single “Sweet Dream."
