'Tokyo Ghoul' Season 3 Release Date Set On Summer Of 2015? Story To Revolve On Haise Sasaki?

"Tokyo Ghoul" season 2 just wrapped up and fans are wondering whether there will be a third season. Apparently, the answer is yes as reports indicate that the third season will be out by summer of 2015. Will fans finally see the amnesiac Haise Sasaki?

When-will.net stated that the sequel to the original series, "Tokyo Ghoul:re" will probably be the story of "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3.

According to the website, "the story will revolve around Kaneki who is now an amnesiac and is now known as Haise Sasaki, a rank 1 investigator and the leader of a special unit of investigators at the Commission of Counter Ghoul called Quinx Squad. All the members of that unit underwent similar surgeries as him, allowing them to obtain the special abilities of ghouls in order to fight them, but still being able to live as normal humans."

For those who are new to the series, "Tokyo Ghoul" is a highly regarded Japanese manga series by mangaka Sui Ishida. The manga series was serialized in the Weekly Young Jump between September 2011 and September 2014 and was compiled to 14 volumes in August of 2014.

Some of "Tokyo Ghoul's" achievements are it was named 27th best-selling manga series in Japan in 2013 and the 4th best-selling manga series in Japan in 2014.

Due to its massive popularity, a sequel entitled "Tokyo Ghoul:re" began serialization in the same Weekly Young Jump magazine in October of 2014.

A prequel to the main story was released entitled "Tokyo Ghoul: JACK." The story is about CCG ace Kishou Arima and his partner Taishi Fura. It is published online on Jump Live.

"Tokyo Ghoul" is a suspense horror/dark fantasy manga set in Tokyo, Japan. The city is haunted by ghouls whose means of living is by eating people. They look like human-beings and are hard to distinguish. The story begins with Ken Kaneki meeting Rize Kamishiro, a ghoul, who wishes to devour him.

However, Rize fails while Kaneki is left injured. An organ transplant was conducted to Kaneki using Rize's vital organs, which resulted to Kaneki turning into a ghoul.
