SM Entertainment debuted their very own dance unit SM The Performance during this year's "2012 SBS Gayo Daejun".

SM The Performance officially released their digital single "Spectrum" yesterday for fans. The dance unit consists of TVXQ's Yunho, Super Junior's Donghae and Eunhyuk, SHINee's Minho and Taemin and EXO-K's Kai and EXO-M's Lay.

The dance unit's first highly anticipated remix performance of "Spectrum" was featured at SBS end of the year festival "SBS Gayo Daejun." The song's choreography and performance was later revealed to be created by renowned dance team NappyTabs who have previously worked with Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez and other top stars around the world. NappyTabs has previously collaborated with SM artist such as BoA and TVXQ.

"Spectrum" is a cover of Germany's DJ Zedd second single with the same title. The single is an electronic dance track showcasing the powerful dance skills of the 7 idol group members.
