Joss Whedon Talks About his last film, 'Avengers Age Of Ultron;' Says He 'Couldn't Imagine Doing It Again.'

The upcoming "Avengers Age of Ultron" film has thousands of sites talking about it.

While the cast members have been making headlines on their own, talking about the film and exciting fans even more, Joss Whedon, the film's director, has also garnered a respectable amount of attention as he is set to have made one of the greatest superhero films to come out.

Whedon has been in the franchise for quite some time, and he has done numerous interviews with different publications to talk about the upcoming film and what his take on it is. Recently he talked about his part in the whole Marvel productions, and how making this film might be his last under Marvel.

"I couldn't imagine doing this again.", said the director to Empire Magazine. "It's enormously hard, and it [will] be, by [the time I would make 'Avengers 3 & 4′], a good five years since I created anything that was completely my own. It's very doubtful that I would take on the two-part Infinity War movie that would eat up the next four years of my life."

While he has expressed his desire to take a break after "Avengers Age of Ultron," the director was quick to add that he is not closing his doors to Marvel.

"I would never rule anything out, because I like working here," said Whedon in a separate interview with Buzzfeed. "By the same token, the biggest thing for me is that I need to do something that I create myself. It's been way too long since I created a universe."

"The last thing I did before The Avengers was [directing an episode of] Glee, and in between I did Much Ado About Nothing. So I haven't created my own universe for over five years. That feels wrong."

As previously reported, the official synopsis for the much-awaited film is as follows,

"Marvel Studios presents 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure."

Marvel's "Avengers Age of Ultron" will be released on May 1, 2015
