While summer is usually time for f(x)'s annual comeback, this year's alleged comeback might arrive under different circumstances.  

Recently, f(x)'s leader Victoria Song was interviewed by Chinese media on the set of the television series "Beautiful Secret." According to media outlets like Koreaboo, Victoria hinted at f(x)'s comeback during the interview while discussing her personal activities.

"Be it singing or acting, I hope that I can develop myself as an all-rounded individual with my work both in China and in Korea," said Song.

The SM Entertainment's group's comeback would mark the first time all five members of f(x) have appeared together since last year's promotional era for "Red Light." As previously reported, Choi Jin-ri (Sulli) has avoided the public eye since her relationship with the rapper Choiza was revealed to the public.

"I want to sincerely apologize for causing concern to many for not having been able to explain clearly despite the continuous speculations due to various personal circumstances," said the 34-year-old rapper according to allkpop.

"I thought that the solution was not to continue to remain silent as it shouldn't have to be that my relationship with her becomes another source of pain for Sulli, who is already suffering from malicious rumors and comments. So far, we are in a stage where we have good feelings toward one another and are cautiously progressing forward, so I hope that you will all watch over us with interest. Thank you."

Meanwhile, various reports also alleged that f(x)'s Krystal Jung was repeatedly absent during several SMTown Live World Tour IV concerts in recent months.

One of the emerging theories behind Krystal's absences is that the singer is attempting to avoid the members of Girls' Generation due to her sister Jessica's dismissal from the group last September.

"Jessica and Krystal even finished recording their album," said a rep from the reality series "Jessica & Krystal" last year according to allkpop. 

"There were even plans for a second season to 'Jessica & Krystal' after shooting their music video, but a problem has arisen in this schedule after Jessica's departure from her group."

With various circumstances surrounding the f(x) members, fans are curious to see how their comeback will arrive this year.
