YG Entertainment Teases Who's Next Explosion Slated For April Fool's Day

Calling Papa YG a troll might as well be an understatement at this point, considering the number of times he has faked out and teased fans with a comeback or a debut before actually allowing it to happen.

In fact, fans are speculating that this latest "Who's Next" countdown will be no exception to the seemingly endless trolling. The latest countdown points to an explosion, ironically set to go off on the unofficial troll holiday, April Fool's Day. A recent photo released on the YG-Family facebook, pictured above points to perhaps a significant announcement slated for tomorrow, April 1.

Some might speculate that April 1 lacks the same meaning culturally, but other fans aren't holding their breath for tomorrow:

"It's gonna explode on April Fool's day. I AIN'T BELIEVING ANYTHING!" exclaimed Cherriebunny on Allkpop.

"I thought YG and Jinusean had already confirmed that it wasn't a comeback for Jinusean? Well whatever. I'm still excited but. I'm also kind of trying not to get my hopes too high. As YG has the habit of trolling fans too much.  I'm still scared over the fact that this is happening on the 1st of April!" explained Kyatt.

As for exactly "Who is next," some fans are speculating that the bomb might be referring to either Jinusean or BIGBANG. The bomb being related to BIGBANG is obvious and as Alkpop reports, Jinusean's first song is entitled "Jinusean Bomb."

Whether the announcement ends up indeed being an awful April Fool's Day joke or a substantial release, it is perhaps VIPs who are the most hopeful that the event will bring BIGBANG back. It has been over a year since the group promoted together as one, and with G-dragon's personal assurances that he was working hard for them last year, anticipation for their comeback might be the highest of all YG Entertainment fans.

Here's hoping Papa YG will stow his trolling and give VIPs what they want.
