'The Expendables 4' Cast: Jackie Chan Wants To Reduce Members For Him To Have More Screen Time? Jason Statham To Stick To The Roster Till The End

Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are going out to add more stars in the film's fourth installment. However, Jackie Chan is not too fond of that idea. Also, Jason Statham said that he will stick with all of Stallone's future "The Expendables" films.

One of the most coveted stars fans would like to see in the film, the Chinese martial arts star had actually been approached by Stallone recently.

"They already asked me to be in two and three, but I refused," Chan told Cinema Blend. "Well, I didn't refuse, but, I said, 'Sly, can't we just do you and me? Not just a bunch of people and me only coming out for five minutes because then the audience is, 'Oh!' and then I'm gone."

Latinos Post has reported that Sylvester Stallone might actually heed Chan's advice and trim some of the members to give significant screen time for the remaining actors.

At the very least, Jason Statham will not be included in that list. When "The Transporter" star sat with IGN, the actor said that he is very interested to the next sequel after "The Expendables 4." Statham thinks highly about "Expendables" creator Sylvester Stallone and he is optimistic to reprise his role of Lee Christmas not only in "Expendables 4" but to all the future installments of the film franchise.

"Working with Sylvester Stallone is beyond a pinch yourself moment. I remember growing up watching his films. And to be directed by him and to be in a movie that he's produced and to be shoulder to shoulder with Sly is a privilege any man who loves action movies would never turn their nose up at. I mean, it's terrific. I'll do as many as he wants."
