Michael Schumacher's recovery is still very much a question mark, and fans waiting for a miracle may end up sorely disappointed.

"For the last few months, he has been recovering at his Swiss mansion near Lake Geneva. However, his wife, Corinna, has enforced a complete media blackout, which means that there has been very little news of his recovery or progress," said Inquistr.

An earlier article from Express revealed that "there is no miracle on the horizon" for Michael Schumacher's recovery.

"Progress is painfully slow," a source told the publication.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the true extent of Michael Schumacher's medical condition might be leaked when burglars broke into the office of one of his doctors.

"A laptop was among the items stolen in the break-in at the surgery of Dr Johannes Peil, 60, who has been one of the F1 star's physicians for many years," said Daily Mail. "Mr Peil is also part of the 15-strong team of medics currently caring for Schumacher, 46, at his home on lake Geneva following his catastrophic ski accident in the Swiss Alps in 2013."

Peter Hamlyn, one of the foremost expert in head injuries, told Express that it's always a miracle for patients of severe head injuries to make a full recovery.

"The first months are dominated by questions of survival. Gradually as the weeks and months go by those questions of survival turn into questions of the quality of survival," he said.

"It's a rollercoaster and if Michael Schumacher's rollercoaster takes him and his family somewhere happy then they will have been to places that will have been pretty unhappy on the way there."

"But I know they will have been buoyed by all the support that has been voiced," the surgeon added.

For now, however, the public will have to wait until the family will release a statement on Michael Schumacher's recovery and accident update.
