JYJ's Jaejoong And Super Junior's Sungmin Enlist

Fans said farewell to JYJ's Jaejoong and Super Junior's Sungmin as both idols entered their mandatory two-year military service.

Jaejoong enlisted as an active duty soldier on March 31, but softened the blow to his fans by hosting a special concert with family and fans on March 28 and 29, reports Koreaboo.

The idol then spent the last couple of days preparing for his military service. He shortened his locks to comply with the military standards for hair length, posting a picture online. He also left a supportive message to his longtime JYJ group members, Yoochun and Junsu.

"It's getting shorter. I will transform into a baldy soon. I am able to go after crying and laughing a lot through our priceless time yesterday, where many acquaintances, staffs, celebrities, families... Yoo Chun (good luck on your filming), Junsu (good luck with your concert in Japan), and my fans who came despite busy schedules," he reportedly posted.

On the day of his enlistment, fans sent off Jaejoong by flooding Twitter with the hashtag #WaitingforJaejoong as an expression of loyalty and a promise to wait for his comeback, reports Allkpop.

Similarly, Super Junior's Sungmin received much fan support as he enlisted. Fans could be seen crowding and waving posters that they will wait for him. His wife Kim Sa Eun was also seen accompanying him as he entered his first day of duty, as seen in photos re-posted by Netizenbuzz.
