Rolling Stones Tour 2015 Dates Announced; Show To Kickstart This May!

The Rolling Stones Tour is finally announced to be confirmed this 2015.

This is after initial reports were published about an alleged tour taking place this year. This did not sit well with some speculators and has been assumed to be false given that the band has not toured for quite some time now. However, the rumors were proven to be true by an official press release for the tour.

Named the "Zip Code" tour and set to be held in North America, the band is expected to visit 15 cities, starting off at the Petco Park in San Diego on May 24.

According to the press release, which was cited by The Courier Journal, one of the cities that the band will be visiting includes Indianapolis, particularly at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

"The Rolling Stones concert on July 4 will mark the first time the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has hosted a concert on a non-race weekend," said IMS president J. Douglas Boles in the press release. "The biggest band in the world playing at the biggest sporting venue in the world will provide an unbelievable experience for our fans. It doesn't get any better than the Rolling Stones on Fourth of July Weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway."
