#GetWellSoonTao Trends Worldwide As EXO Fans Grow Concerned For Tao’s Worsening Leg Injury

EXO fans expressed concern for Tao as news reports come in that his leg injury has become worse to the point where he will not be able to join upcoming comeback performances.

All 10 current EXO members, including Tao, held their first comeback stage on Mnet's music show M! Countdown for their comeback album.

But during the performance, Tao felt pain on his ankle which led the SM Entertainment to cancel all his activities so he can recover, reports Allkpop.

"After EXO's 'M! Countdown' performance this week, Tao experienced ankle pain. For now, his activities will be canceled, so he can focus on recovering," the agency reportedly said in a statement on April 3.

EXO fans also reported that Tao had missed the group's comeback performance for "Call Me Baby" on the KBS music show Music Bank, reports Soompi.

With Tao's injury appearing to worsen, EXO fans have poured out their well wishes on Twitter, making the #GetWellSoonTao hashtag trend worldwide alongside #callmebaby.

But showing his immense strength and willpower, Tao has expressed a desire to keep on dancing through the pain and wished that he could recover soon on his social media accounts. On Weibo, Tao posted a status: "I still wanna dance though it hurts. I will be good and hopefully recover soon," according to a translation from BaiduPreciousTaoBar, reports Koreaboo.

Meanwhile on Instagram, Tao posted a selfie which revealed his good spirits. "I will get well soon," he said with 434,000 fans liking his positive message. In the Instagram photo, Tao was wearing the black outfit he had worn during the M! Countdown comeback performance stage.
