ZE:A's Kwanghee Leaves 'Inkigayo' After More Than 2 Years As Host
Witty and energetic Hwang Kwanghee is stepping down as host for SBS' Inkigayo.
After two years and four months of bringing great laughs and entertainment on the music show for SBS' Inkigayo, the ZE:A member is relinquishing his spot as host.
During the April 5 episode of Inkigayo, after announcing EXO as the winner, all the K-pop singers who performed that day held a banner specially made for the departing host that read, "Kwanghee, thank you for your effort."
With the happiness and love from viewers and fans, Kwanghee took to Instagram and expressed his feelings on Sunday, April 5. "I would like to thank many singers and SBS," wrote Kwanghee on his Instagram.
During his time as host for the music show, Kwanghee worked with many other great MCs including IU, Girl's Day's Minah, EXO's Suho and Baekhyun, Hong Jong Hyun, and others.
Kwanghee's hosting job is not finished because he is moving to another program. Kwanghee is the new host for KBS W's new beauty show Beauty Bible. Kwanghee is going to be hosting the show with SECRET's Hyosung and Kang Seung Hyun. The first episode of the show aired on April 7.
