Kim Kardashian And Kanye West’s Baby North Gets Baptized In Jerusalem; ‘KUWTK’ Star Pays Homage To Armenian Heritage

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby North recently got baptized in one of the world's oldest churches. The power couple reportedly had their firstborn baptized at the Cathedral of St. James in the Armenian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. The church has been existing for 1,600 years already.

"They flew [into Jerusalem] especially for [the baptism]," a family insider told People magazine.

"They knew it was close to Armenia and it was always a dream to come to Jerusalem. There's an Armenian quarter and they did it at this old beautiful church. It was epic. So beautiful."

Apart from the baptism of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby North, the family also met up with Jerusalem's mayor, Nir Barkat.

As reported by the Jerusalem Post, Barkat reportedly wanted Kimye "to be ambassadors of Jerusalem and to spread the message around the world that Jerusalem is open and everyone is wanted here."

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star also paid homage to her Armenian heritage. She had a trip to remember the 100-year anniversary of the Armenian genocide. They visited Yerevan where the "Bound" rapper had a free performance.

However, the concert needed to be cut short because Kanye West was already being mobbed by fans. He even jumped into a lake for others to see him.

"Crazy night! Kanye wakes me up & says he's doing a free concert in Yerevan, Armenia! I throw on sweats & we go!" the brunette beauty initially tweeted.

"Thousands of people were there! Kanye jumped in swan lake to be closer to the crowd on the other side & so many people jumped in too!" she recalled.

The family will then head to Jordan.

Fans will be delighted because the baptism of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby North West has been filmed and will be featured in a future "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" episode.
