A series of injuries made things difficult for the members of  Dal Shabet, but Subin used the experience creatively. 

Member Jiyul said, "We experienced a slump after our members got injured."

On Wednesday, Dal Shabet held their showcase for their eighth mini album JOKER IS ALIVE.

"There was a slump after the members got injured. Everyone was trying hard but we felt like bad luck was within us. We went on a trip and got some fresh air," said Jiyul.

"In the midst of that, Subin made music even though she was sick and showed it to us. The moment we heard the music, we realized why we needed the break. It was a meaningful break," she continued.

Subin also said, "It was a slump when I got injured. It was a time for me to think about the team Dal Shabet as well. Thinking of the members, I started writing and the song 'JOKER' was written."

The title song of their new album is "JOKER" and was written by Subin herself.
