K-pop fans have found all kinds of ways to express their devotion. They pick up extra shifts to afford concert tickets, leave thousands of comments on social media defending their favorite idols, and track their wherabouts in the hopes of snagging a rare public sighting of a star.

A simpler way to pledge allegiance is through nail art. Decorating nails with K-pop in mind can be subtle or flashy; expensive or DIY; romantic or fierce -- no matter what, it's a way to show off a fan's personal style and love of K-pop.

Their nail art inspiration sometimes comes from K-pop stars themselves, of course. A post on K-pop nails wouldn't be complete without several mentions of Hyoyeon. The woman is a nail art revolutionary. Here are a few of her recent stylings:

Also keep in mind that nail art isn't just for women. FTISLAND singer Lee Hongki is probably one of the most prolific nail art enthusiasts on the K-pop scene. In 2013, the idol rocker even released a special nail art book showcasing some of his favorite designs.

Other fans, like Tumblr user myexofeelings, go a bit more subtle. A fellow fan might know this nail is a tribute to EXO, but to someone else it might just look like a cool design.

K-pop nail artists also take some of the hottest outfits in K-pop fashion and turn them into original nail art, like this example of a snazzy Amber-inspired set of nails from Instagram user risheruxo.

Yonghwa also served as a muse to risheruxo.

Luckily for the DIY nail arters out there, several K-pop YouTube'ers have created tutorials so that fans can easily put together their own nail art inspired by the polished nails of their favorite stars.
