Katy Perry To Roar For Hillary Clinton? ‘Dark Horse’ Singer Offered To Write Campaign Theme Song For Presidential Frontrunner

Katy Perry the political anthem writer? Now that Hillary Clinton officially announced that she is running for president, will she make Katy Perry her official campaign theme songwriter? Last June, Perry took to Twitter and Instagram to offer her musical services to the former secretary of state.

"I told hillaryclinton that I would write her a "theme" song if she needs it..." Perry wrote after attending a Clinton booksigning.

"Well that's not a Hard Choice. You already did! Keep letting us hear you Roar," the Hillary Clinton Twitter team responded.

Perry's song "Roar," had been used in a video for the Ready for Hillary super PAC in March 2014.

Clinton made her entrance at the stump speech for Democratic Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes in Kentucky to the Katy Perry anthem last in November. She entered to Perry's song "Unconditionally" at last month's 30th anniversary gala for the pro-choice political action committee EMILY's List.

In 2007, Clinton asked her supporters to pick a campaign theme song in an online vote. The winning tune was  Céline Dion's "You and I."

Clinton has also been endorsed by singers like Carole King and Ariana Grande.

Katy Perry  socialized with former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton during the release of Clinton's memoir, "Hard Choices."
