Oklahoma City Thunder Stars Kevin Durant And Russell Westbrook Pissed Off; Will Play 2015-2016 NBA Season With Vengeance

Now that the Oklahoma City Thunder is ousted from playoff contention, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook plan to play next season with a chip on their shoulder. They want everyone to know that they seek for retribution next season.

Russell Westbrook won the scoring title this season and when reporters asked him what that means to him, he said (via Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman):

"Sh**," Westbrook said when asked what it meant. "It doesn't mean nothing. Good job. Hooray. I'm at home, watching other teams play. It doesn't mean nothing."

Nevertheless, he is proud of his teammates for playing their hearts out all season long.

"I thought we showed maturity," said Russell Westbrook. "Obviously with the injuries and different things of that nature throughout the season a team could have easily given up. Obviously we made some changes and trades and different things like that. That could have been another excuse that we gave ourselves. But we never gave up. We competed all 82 games, and I'm proud of that."

Anthony Slater got the chance to speak with Kevin Durant and asked how he feels that OKC is not in the playoffs. According to him, Durant said he is pissed.

"I'm definitely pissed. I can't wait for the first game (next season)."

He was also asked if he's watching the playoffs. The reigning MVP said, "Hell no."

Finally, coach Scott Brooks couldn't be more proud of his boys.

"I've been proud of them all year," Brooks said. "I told the guys after the game I couldn't be more proud. What they've done all year, just fought every game. It came down to the last game, we came up a game short. But we fought. We fought."
