Twitter exploded last night when "Scandal" fans watched the horrific scene of Jake being stabbed by Olivia Pope's new boyfriend and Papa Pope. But do new spoiler promo photos for "Scandal" season 4, episode 21 prove that Jake isn't dead?

It all started with the Twitter photo below, posted by a dedicated "Scandal" fan sharing with her fellow viewers that Jake seemed alive - though not well - in promo photos released by ABC.

After a bit of digging, the promo photos were uncovered on Scandal Fix, and show Jake lying in a bed, bandaged up, with different tinctures and medications beside him. Olivia is seen in other photos, helping prop up his head with a pillow and talking to him.

The photos from "Scandal" season 4, episode 21, titled "A Few Good Women" and set to air April 30, give an important spoiler to Olake shippers; Jake isn't dead! He's alive and talking - though not looking like he's having the time of his life.

Looks like actor Scott Foley still has a job!

The 42-year-old actor tweeted: "So, there it is. Thank you Twitter for tonight and all of the Thursday nights. It's such an honor. #Scandal," he wrote to his 258K followers, teasing that maybe the he's reached the end of his "Scandal" run.

Joshua Malina, who plays Attorney General David Rosen, fueled the fire of the rumors of Jake's death when he tweeted: "It has been a real pleasure working with @scottkfoley."

According to IMDB, Foley is credited on the following three episodes of "Scandal," so perhaps Jake's death was just a ploy to bump ratings for the next episodes leading up to the finale.
