Kate Middleton Hides In Parents' Home Before Giving Birth; Royal Baby Set To Be Named Alice?

As the due date of Kate Middleton's second baby draws near, the Duchess of Cambridge has chosen to retreat to her family's home in order to prepare for the big day.

She has reportedly returned to her mom and dad's place in Bucklebury, England. People magazine reported that the princess has been spending most of the time leading to the birth of royal baby number two in the village of Berkshire where her parents currently reside in.

The Duchess of Cambridge has mostly stayed inside to rest and was not seen out and about during her time there.

"Kate was here for a few days in the week," a local source told the magazine. "Nobody saw her around though - she must have just stayed in the house having a rest."

Both the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge are known to spend time in Bucklebury. People reported that the royal couple like to hike through the woods of the English countryside, and enjoy the privacy the rural town afforded them.

"You often see William and Kate wandering through the fields," People's source shared.  "But Kate doesn't venture out of the house much when she's at home these days."

"She just relaxes at home with her mum and dad where she knows it's totally private and she can completely relax," the source added.

After her brief stay at her parents, Kate has reportedly moved back to her official home, Kensington Palace, which is just a stone's throw away from the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's, Hospital, in London.

The baby, which could arrive any day now has everyone excited, with people betting on the baby's gender, name, and even her date of birth.

According to The Mirror, betting house William Hill has revealed what people are most betting on.

"The latest odds suggest that Catherine will give birth to a baby girl," Rupert Adams of William Hill said. "She will be born on Saturday the 25th, weigh between 7 & 8lbs and be named 'Alice.'"

"She will have blonde hair and it will be a proud mum holding her as she is introduced to the world's media," he added.
