Wardrobe Inspection: K-Pop's Best Dressed April 2015

April gave us some powerful comebacks from strong artists and though the dancing was an eye grabber, the fashion itself garnered its own attention from fans all around.

"Who's Your Mama" by JYP

It's hard to say whether JYP's newest music video for "Who's Your Mama" had stylish clothing or no clothing at all. The video featured many colorful scenes not only on set but in their fashion choice as well. The style shifts gears from tropical classy to gym suit chic throughout the video; something that only JYP can pull off this well.

"AHH! OOP!" by MAMAMOO & eSNa

Both MAMAMOO and eSNa made a return this April with the addictive track "AHH! OOP!" featuring a style full of 1950's influence and pinstripes. eSNa was seen rocking a leather bodice with a black-and-white striped blazer worn over it. MAMAMOO's Hwasa stood out in a two-piece pink suit spotted with what looked to be cotton balls. eSNa and MAMAMOO gave a refreshing concept just in time for the warm spring weather.

"Ah Yeah" by EXID

Continuing with sexy concept they had for "Up&Down" EXID added a sexy office flare this time around. For dance scenes and a few solo shots, the ladies donned baggier loose fitting clothes with short high-waisted shorts that was blurred a majority of the music video leaving the big reveal for the end. The five ladies also found their way around denim sporting the jackets for two of the dance shots.

"Catch Me If You Can" by Girls Generation

Girls Generation surprised us all with the release of the Korean version of “Catch Me If You Can”. Along with it was the surprise that construction worker themed clothing can be sexy too. The eight ladies rocked the hazard reflector one-pieces complete with thick black boots. The gals also pulled off white crop tops army belts and the “rough and tough” style flawlessly.

"I Need You" by Bangtan Boys

Rather than a cool school boy or a chic bad boy, the boys of BTS took the casual route and remained in a simple but alluring attire. The boys donned jeans, hoodies, and T-shirts throughout the duration of the video.

“Love Game” by Lim Kim

Lim Kim took a break from her usually alternative or indie themed music to achieve something a bit more bold with “Love Game”. Lim Kim traded out her brown locks for platinum blonde and even got a new and risqué wardrobe compare to her “Goodbye 20” days.

"R.O.S.E" by Jang WooYoung (2PM)

2PM’s went old school wedding singer style with his newest music video for “R.O.S.E”. Wooyoung is known for his funky fresh personality and it definitely shows with his outfit choice and attire. The two key point of WooYoung’s look is by far the mullet hairstyle paired with the Lego inspired bowtie.

"Conduct ZERO" by BASTARZ (Block B)

Block B’s first subunit, BASTARZ, definitely live up to their name with the intensity of their first music video. Each member had a distinctive element to their look to set them apart. P.O. looked like a true “magnae” with his oversized overalls and two sizes-too big barrette. U Kwon made fans go insane with his mental patient themed attire in one scene but an eye grabbing all black outfit in another. B-Bomb stayed chic in a classy suit complete with an all white blazer later switched to an white-T.

"Tell Me One More Time" by Jinusean

The classic duo of Jinusean took us through a time=warp with their latest music video for “Tell Me One More Time”. They went from modern day dress all the way back to the funk disco days of the 1970’s. The music video featured a number of guest including iKON’s Bobby, Haha, Yoo Jae Suk and many more who also rocked the timeless attire.

"Joker" by Dal Shabet

After a long wait Dal Shabet has finally returned with their dance track “Joker”. Staying true to its title, the ladies of Dal Shabet themed themselves in Joker style red and black; even the backup dancers imitated the signature Joker facial makeup. The ladies go through a number of other outfits included pieces laced with quite the amount of floral arrangements and a sequined blue piece.

“Bae Bae” by Big Bang

It would be Big Bang if there wasn’t some kind unique yet strange attractiveness that you can’t take your eyes off in the music video. While G-Dragon looked to be wearing a tool-made bag, Taeyang took it out to the old west with his black leather vest and miniature cowboy hat. Daesung killed the hearts of many with his revealing water scene while TOP creeped viewers out a bit with his mismatched colored contacts. Seungri went blonde but overall had the simplest suit out of the five members. One thing is for sure; Big Bang is definitely back.

Overall, April was full of some intense and sexy comeback concepts but May is sure to bring the heat with anticipated comebacks from BoA, Infinite's Sunggyu, BESTie, and more!
