Amanda Knox In Danger Following Murder Case Acquittal? Ex-Boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito Says He's Marked For Life

Amanda Knox is reportedly getting death threats after she was acquitted from the murder trial in connection to Meredith Kercher's death. Meanwhile, ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito also believes that the stigma will follow him throughout his life.

In a report from The Sun, the FBI has been called in after Amanda Knox reportedly got death threats from somebody the family knows.

"We've been given reason to believe they have the ability to carry out their threats," the source in the family said. "We know who it is and their address. The FBI is investigating. The vast majority of internet trolls harassing Amanda are British."

Maybe Amanda Knox really feels that she's in danger from the constant death threats that she's received as the student has enrolled in Krav Maga classes, which are developed by the Israeli Defense Forces.

"It is known for its efficient use in 'real-life' situations, and extreme counter-attacks using a combination of boxing, wrestling and chokeholds," said Daily Mail. "It is not known whether Knox is learning Krav Maga ('contact combat') as a direct result of the alleged death threats."

Meanwhile, Raffaele Sollecito said that the murder trial involving him and ex-girlfriend Amanda Knox over Meredith Kercher's death was a "dreadful kind of pain without an end."

"It is time I will never be able to recoup. My mind and my soul will be marked for life, and the wound will never stop bleeding, it will never heal," he said.

He added, "The most beautiful moment without a doubt was the one that put an end to the nightmare, the call from my sister after the reading of the sentence and the total acquittal from the High Court."

Raffaele Sollecito also claimed that unlike what was reported in the press, he didn't really know Meredith Kercher that well.

He explained, "I am very sorry that Meredith's family is disappointed about this verdict. The verdict reflects the truth. It reflects what really happened. I have nothing to do with this crime."

"I hardly knew Meredith. I just said hello to her a few times and I had no reason to hate her or to be a part of this heinous crime."
