Tyler The Creator Talks About New Album; Rapper Discusses Kanye West And Lil Wayne’s Tracks

After releasing his new album "Cherry Bomb," Tyler, The Creator recently did an interview where he revealed some tracks were meant for Jay Z and Kanye West, as his recent release garnered a positive attention from music fans and experts.

In a report by NME, the rapper revealed that the track "Smuckers" was intended to be used by Jay Z and Kanye West but was later taken back by him.

"I made 'Smuckers' in 2011 and sent it to Jay Z and 'Ye," Tyler, The Creator told Billboard recently. "They were going to use it, but I kind of took it back."

As it is now included in the LP, the said track features verses by Kanye West and Lil Wayne after thinking it would also fit his record. He added that he was very happy with the outcome getting help from Lil Wayne.

"I'm like, 'Oh my God, this is f-cking amazing," he said. "Lil Wayne would sound so good over this.' I sent Wayne a reference of what I was going to put, and he sent me the verse back. I legit was about to cry."

He continued by adding how he got Kanye to do some lines for the song.

"I played it for 'Ye at his house literally four days before the album was due," he added. "He was like, 'OK, I got to step my bars up. Y'all niggas is spitting.' It was such a sick thing to know that me and Wayne had to put 'Ye back on his feet. Like, what the f-ck? I'm 24 years old. What am I going to look forward to at 30?"

Tyler, The Creator's new album was released recently as a surprise on April 13.
